Matcha green tea protein balls
I LOVE tea... but more specifically my Camellia Sinensis Matcha green tea, which is part of my morning routine.
Matcha is a green tea ground into a very fine powder that is traditionally used in the Japanese tea ceremony. The best quality Matcha comes from shaded plantations in the Uji region. Matcha green tea is becoming increasingly well-known and people enjoy it, among other things, because of its excessively high amount of antioxidants (up to 137 times more than steeped green tea). Not to mention that the presence of the amino acid L-Theanine in Matcha promotes concentration and has positive effects on memory. In fact, drinking matcha allows you to increase your alertness over a long period without feeling restless or experiencing any kind of jitteriness. Matcha green tea also acts as a natural detoxifier and alkalizer. So, no reason to skip it.
Here is a delicious recipe for chewy energy balls, in which you can enjoy the many virtues of Matcha green tea. The result is just SO GOOD

Instructions
- In a food processor, blend your cashews until they resemble a fine powder.
- Add your coconut to the food processor for about 3 minutes, or until your mixture begins to look a bit like nut butter.
- Add the protein powder, Sora Camellia Sinensis Matcha powder, and vanilla to the mixture until everything is combined.
- Add a little water as needed so that the mixture is malleable.
- Add only 1/2 teaspoon at a time.
- Add the dark chocolate to the mixture.
- Roll your protein balls. Approximate size equivalent to one tablespoon.
- Enjoy immediately or refrigerate (these keep for 1-2 weeks in the fridge) or freeze for later.
